Get front row access to the world’s largest jewellery marketplace in Hong Kong this March. International and regional jewellery manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, buyers and designers will converge on the city for the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Kicking off with the seventh Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show at the AsiaWorld-Expo over 2-6 March, fans of the finest jewellery raw materials can explore some of the world’s top suppliers at special zones dedicated to diamonds at the Hall of Fine Diamonds, premium coloured gemstones within Treasures of Nature and precious pearls from some of the world’s most distinguished pearl hubs at Treasures of Ocean.
Meanwhile, the 37th edition of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show takes place at the Convention and Exhibition Centre over 4-8 March. Dedicated to finished jewellery, an array of curated collections at several themed zones cover coveted pieces, renowned brands, pieces by local jewellers and antique jewellery. A special zone exhibiting luxury timepieces should interest watch enthusiasts, while another dedicated zone goes into depth about how the latest technologies are shaping the future of the jewellery industry.
The programme of seminars, buyer forums, networking events and jewellery parades provides a gilt-edged chance for industry professionals and enthusiasts to rub shoulders and discuss the leading trends.
The winning pieces of the 21st Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition will also be on proud display during the fairs, celebrating the brightest talents and craftsmanship of local students and designers.
