Note: The rules around hotel quarantine are changing regularly, so be sure to check on the latest information before booking.
If you’re arriving in Hong Kong, there is now a 21-day quarantine requirement, in keeping with government COVID-19 prevention measures.
All arrivals need to spend their quarantine at a designated hotel (except those from the Chinese mainland, Macao and Taiwan, who can quarantine for 14 days at home).
Here’s the good news: there is a whole host of designated Hong Kong hotels available to meet a variety of budgets and tastes, with a few new options available as of 20 February 2021. Each is implementing special hygiene and safety measures and will only accept quarantining guests.
We’ve scoured the city to highlight the very best options – hotels with special in-room amenities, scenic views, outdoor spaces and concierge services to see guests soundly through their extended stay.
