Rachna Sachasinh
Born and raised in Thailand, though of Indian origin, Rachna writes for major travel publications from her base in Chiang Mai. Where is your favourite work/play city – and why? 'I never tire of Bangkok, my hometown, which has transformed into a cosmopolitan city, yet remains completely Thai. Millionaires and tuk-tuk drivers think nothing of eating alongside each other at a street stall. And the original center, Rattanakosin, retains its old-world ambiance full of classic temples, small sundries shops and folks dishing fabulous meals from their stoops.'
