Around Chinese New Year, many flock to feng shui masters to have their fortunes told and garner tips on how to boost luck and avoid problems in the year ahead.
Thierry Chow is one of Hong Kong’s hottest young feng shui masters. The daughter of renowned master Chow Hon-ming learned at an early age that the key to the age-old philosophy lies in one word: balance.
There are five elements in the world of feng shui: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. All aspects of our lives – the colours we wear, the shapes of objects in our home and office, and even the places that we travel to and the months in which we travel – are represented by one of the five elements.
Some elements complement one another, but others clash. By balancing these elements in our lives, feng shui masters believe you can maximise your luck and happiness.
Here are Chow’s recommendations on where each of the 12 zodiac signs should travel to in 2020:
Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig
