Adam White
Adam is the group editor of Cathay’s inflight magazines. Hong Kong born and raised, he has worked for the South China Morning Post’s Inkstone website and was the editor of city living bible HK Magazine. He wrote the Wallpaper* City Guide to Hong Kong and has written for Time, The Guardian, Monocle, The New Statesman and many more.


Alison Gilmore
Alison is a UK-based international business development professional with more than 15 years in the premium consumer and business travel market. She currently works as the portfolio director for the International Luxury Travel Market, which brings together brands, travel advisors and media professionals at regional shows featuring bespoke programming and networking sessions.
Alvin Soon
Alvin spent 20 years shuffling between the luxury and tech sectors at Nokia, TAG Heuer and Lenovo before becoming the president of Breitling Asia, a role that has given him greater insight into the craftsmanship behind luxury products. He travels frequently for work – and makes good use of that time to get acquainted with local cuisine, whether at hawker markets or Michelin-starred restaurants.


Cheuk Lo
Cheuk is head of customer loyalty at Cathay Pacific Airways and a well-seasoned traveller. His work has taken him far and wide since joining the company in 2002, in a variety of roles including revenue management, airline planning and in its overseas offices in Bangkok, Penang and Vancouver.
Chris Kucway
Chris has worked in travel publishing for more than 25 years, most recently as the editor of Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia. Originally from Canada, he has a fondness for the outdoors but never tires of exploring bustling Asian metropolises like Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. He’s been based in Asia for almost 30 years: 18 in Hong Kong and the rest in Bangkok.


Christina Ko
The daughter of a hotelier, Christina gained a taste for room service early in life and has spent most of her adult years figuring out how to get room upgrades. She began in finance journalism before joining Discovery as the entertainment editor, and has since written for several regional titles (South China Morning Post, Prestige Hong Kong) and for brands (Lane Crawford, Four Seasons Hotels, Mandarin Oriental).
Cynthia Rosenfeld
Editor-at-large for Surface magazine and a contributing editor at Condé Nast Traveller, Cynthia is an award-winning journalist and consultant for the world’s top luxury brands, among them, the Four Seasons, Aqua Expeditions, Rosewood and Aman. In 2017, she co-founded 700’000 heures, the world’s first movable luxury hotel. She is also a Virtuoso travel planner with Surf City Travel, an affiliate of Travel Edge.


Eric Gnock Fah
A Mauritius native, educated in the US, Eric is an avid explorer with a multicultural upbringing that taught him seven languages. Before co-founding Klook in 2014, he worked in finance at a global investment bank in Hong Kong. As chief operating officer of Klook, Eric spearheads the company’s expansion by establishing partnerships with key travel players. He was featured in Forbes’s 30 Under 30 Asia 2017 list and China’s Yicai Brilliant 20 list.
James Chambers
James is the Hong Kong bureau chief for Monocle magazine. His Asia beat sends him flying around the region to cover stories for print and radio about politics, business, culture, design and hospitality. Though British, he was born in New Zealand and has previously lived in Shanghai and Singapore.


Jane Sun
Jane serves as the chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Trip.com, which she joined in 2005. In addition to her extensive experience in operating and managing online travel businesses, she was named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business 2017 and one of the most influential and outstanding business women by Forbes China.
Mark Tjhung
Based in Hong Kong for more than 10 years, Australian-born Mark is the content director of Cedar Hong Kong, the publisher of inspirational travel content for Cathay Pacific. He has travelled extensively across Asia in search of the newest hotels, hottest trends and insightful stories.


Sam Xia
Sam is a Shanghai-based luxury travel writer photographer. He is also the founder of WeChat account Sam’s Night Show, where he writes extensively about travel, lifestyle and new hotels around China and the world. Since 2011, he has also authored four books of collected travel essays.
Serge Dive
Born in France but based in London, Serge launched and sold ILTM Cannes before founding immersive events company, This is Beyond (formerly Beyond Luxury Media) in 2008 alongside his wife, Sarah Ball. Designed to bring together like-minded buyers, suppliers and media in high-end travel, the company created PURE Life Experiences in 2009. They have since launched LE Miami, We Are Africa and Further East.


Vincent Wang
A Shanghai-based travel writer and hotel enthusiast, Vincent launched his official WeChat account – Vincent’s Hotel Lab – on his 30th birthday in February 2018. He was previously the executive editor of luxury travel website Zanadu and has been a longtime contributor to the Chinese editions of Condé Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest and GQ.
