In response to customer feedback, Cathay Pacific has improved the offering of its loyalty programme to ensure that the Marco Polo Club evolves to meet members’ travel needs, with all members now earning more club points across all distance zones in selected fare classes.
In addition, the annual requirement for Green members to maintain their Marco Polo Club membership will be reduced from 100 to 20 club points, allowing Green members to enjoy exclusive club benefits such as priority check-in and boarding, and lounge access redemption, among other privileges.
Members travelling to popular short- or ultra-short-haul destinations such as Taipei, Shanghai, Japan and India with Cathay Pacific will earn an additional five to 10 club points per sector across most fare classes in all cabins. Flights to Europe and North America will carry an additional 10 to 15 more club points in Economy and Premium Economy. In addition, five to 20 extra club points will be awarded to some discounted and promotional fares on almost all routes.
