Standing in Tanjong Pagar on the southern edge of the Downtown Core, the hotel is well placed for those who want to mix business and leisure. Tanjong Pagar Plaza, the tallest building in the city, is right next door, while it’s a simple stroll to the bars and restaurants of hip Telok Ayer. Head out farther via the Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

In the 223 rooms and suites, floor-to-ceiling windows provide plenty of natural light, and the work spaces are simple yet functional, with phones equipped to call 10 countries free of charge. Want a snack or a drink? The hotel’s droid butler, Sophie The Robot, can bring that to you. And for a spot of wellness, there are yoga mats in every room.

There’s no shortage of meeting space, from the 6,500-square-foot ballroom to smaller boardrooms and the airy lobby. The executive lounge, Club Millésime, features an outdoor terrace overlooking the infinity pool. And for keeping fit, there’s the SOFit gym, as well as access to the nearby Virgin Active gym that comes with certain room categories.
