Kunming high-speed rail, China

Kunming is the hub for travel and capital of Yunnan province. This year, high-speed rail networks will connect the city with the ancient town of Shangri-La and other areas previously only accessible via slow, winding bus rides. Work on international connections is also underway, with routes planned to connect Kunming to Yangon, Vientiane and Singapore.
