Flying during September? With more than 200 films and 500 hours of TV onboard Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon flights, it’s hard to know what to watch first.

Use this list of ‘best bits’ to plan your viewing.

1. Alien onboard

You can prepare for Alien: Covenant onboard by watching the two prologue short films that Ridley Scott made specifically for the web (warning: may contain spoilers for those who haven’t seen Prometheus).

2. Pugh’s Macbeth

Florence Pugh gives a chilling performance to remember as a woman pushed to extremes in period drama Lady Macbeth.

3. Coogan and Brydon

Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon go on a hilarious trip in search of Spanish delights in mockumentary The Trip to Spain, showing exclusively on Cathay Pacific this month.

4. King Arthur reborn

Director Guy Ritchie gives a fresh twist to the medieval film genre in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Hear Ritchie break down a pivotal scene in this video:

5. Actors go to Google

Silicon Valley is known for satirising the tech culture with razor sharp accuracy. The fourth season is onboard this month but first, see what happens when the series’ fictional tech geniuses meet real tech geniuses at Google:

6. HK rockers in London

Influential Hong Kong rock duo Tat Ming Pair search for their musical roots, and combine it with a Brit-rock fan trip, in documentary Tat Ming Pair to London.

7. Actors not included

Instead of professional actors, director Wei Te-sheng found four professional musicians to lead the cast of 52 Hz, I Love You. Check out this 360 video of the four performing one of the 17 original songs in the film on set:

8. Comedy trivia

The joke that Paul McCartney, playing the uncle of Jack Sparrow, tells in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was a real joke Al Pacino told Johnny Depp on the set of Donnie Brasco in 1997. Watch Pirates onboard this month.

9. Laugh at Love

Director Pang Ho-cheung completes his hilarious Love trilogy with Love Off the Cuff, another clever take on modern relationships in Hong Kong.
