The pink glow from the vertigo-inducing bar perched on the 63rd floor of Lebua at State Tower acts as a city-wide beacon to hedonists and thrillseekers in the Thai capital. Its panoramic city views featured in Hollywood flick The Hangover Part II and have also attracted the attention of Marco Polo Club members, beating competition from Hong Kong stalwart Sevva and newly opened Dragonfly, to take the crown of best bar in Asia.

A tribute to the great art deco lobbies of yesteryear, this opulent gilded bar offers a gin-focused menu and elegant dining options.

Dragonfly (Hong Kong SAR, China)

Among the many F&B outlets that have opened in Central’s new Tai Kwun – a colonial-era police station and prison turned heritage and arts centre – Dragonfly stands out with its eye-catching ceiling of glass lamps.

Equis, Beijing (China)

Tucked away in The Four Seasons Beijing, the enormous bar comes with a spacious outdoor terrace for an alternative hotspot to the Sanlitun and CBD nightlife.

Foxglove (Hong Kong SAR, China)

This hidden speakeasy in Central transports guests back to the prohibition era with a ‘Golden Age of Transport’ theme complete with train car bathrooms, an eclectic cocktail menu and live jazz.

Keepers, Seoul (South Korea)

An ever-changing cocktail menu and regular guest bartender appearances keeps the crowds coming back for more at one of Seoul’s coolest bars.

Mizunara: The Library (Hong Kong SAR, China)

This late-night Japanese-style whisky bar in Wan Chai is decked out with wood-panelled walls and leather sofas, making it a sophisticated drinking den.

Omnia Dayclub, Bali (Indonesia)

With gorgeous ocean-views, this Las Vegas import is the perfect spot for revellers to party the day away, with pool, DJs and inspired culinary options.

Quinary (Hong Kong SAR, China)

With a hidden entrance, this Shanghai-based speakeasy creates a different vibe on each of its four floors to offer something for everyone.
